Chihuahuas StayReady, They Don't Have 2 Get Ready!
Here is my story about my love for Chihuahuas! I fell in love with my first Chi named Missy fourteen years ago. She was truly my boo! I will always miss her!
Missy was as much of a blessing to me as I was to her! Missy was rescued from being fed to a pack of pit bulls
at two o'clock in the morning. When I first laid my eyes on her all I could do was just hug her...even though
I was barely awake! lol She had absolutely no hair, due to mange! She was severely underweight. Someone
had neglected her to the fulliest. I wanted to beat sum *ss is what I was feeling! Instead I took my new baby in
and cleaned her up, fed her, oiled her down and wrapped her up! The next day I gave her shots, and wormer
and the meds for the mange...and she was all good! People would tease me and say, "What is it, a dog or a rat?" Missy always held her head and hairless tail up high! She was always Ms. Prissy! Oh and when her hair
grew back...it was beautiful...! She was a picture perfect chihuahua! We did go back around to the house that
caused this neglect by the way...lol DON'T NEGLECT MY CHI'S DAMMIT)!
They didn't know what they had, nor missed! She was a sweetheart..and what most people would call a Micro
or Teacup Chihuahua! I don't use that word personally! A CHI is a CHI is a CHI! I love all Chihuahuas!
My Missy passed after eating a batch of bad dog food from CHINA! She is truly missed!
I have been breeding Chihuahuas for several years now. I don't breed for just profit but also to provide a little lap
love for those in need. I will admit I am very picky as to the homes my chis go to, so please bare with me if I
seem a little pushy! Ijust wanna make sure my puppies will continue to receive that love they are accustom
too. I will be asking questions like, "Do you live in an apt or house?", "Do u have a yard?", "Do you have a veterinarian?", "Do you own other pets, if so what kind?", "Do you have small children?", etc.
I have a strict policy of return as well. If for any reason you are unable to properly take care of one of my
Chihuahuas(regardless of age), PLEASE RETURN MY DOG! BY ALL MEANS CONTACT ME, PRIOR TO TAKING THEM TO A SHELTER OR LEAVING THEM ON THE STREET!
Here's a little history on my beloved Chihuahuas.
The Chihuahua is the smallest breed of dog in the world and is named after
the state of Chihuahua in Mexico were it was discovered. Breed standards for
this dog do not generally specify a height, only a weight and a description
of their overall proportions. As a result, height varies more than within
many other breeds. Generally, the height ranges between 6 and 10 inches
(15 to 25 cm) at the withers. However, some dogs grow as tall as 12 to 15 inches
(30 to 38 cm). Both British and American breed standards state that a
Chihuahua must weigh no more than 6.0lbs! Pet-quality Chihuahuas (that is,
those bred or purchased as companions rather than show dogs) can, and do,
range above these weights, to 10 pounds (4.5 kg), or even more if they have
large bone structures or are allowed to become overweight. This does not
mean, however, that they are not purebred Chihuahuas, it only means that
they do not meet the requirements to enter a conformation show.
Oversize Chihuahuas are seen in some of the best, and worst, bloodlines.
Typically the breed standard for both the long and short coat chihuahua
will be identical except for the description of the coat.
Chihuahuas are prized for their devotion, ferocity, and personality.
Their curious nature and small size make them easily
adaptable to a variety of environments, including the city and small apartments. Chihuahua are often stereotyped as high-strung, though it has been shown that correct training and socialization can result in an outstanding companion animal.
Many Chihuahuas focus their devotion on one person, becoming overly jealous
of that person's human relationships. Chihuahuas also tend to have a "clannish"
nature, often preferring the companionship of other Chihuahuas over other
dogs. Chihuahuas seem to have no concept of their own size and may fearlessly confront larger animals, which can result in injury. They have what I call the little dog complex..lol
The prices of my Chihuahuas vary....ranging from $250-$650.
