Q: Do I need to sign a contract?
A: No, AlwaysReady Poop Patrol can start and stop your service
over the phone or through the email. There is no minimum
service period.
Q: Do I have to be home during the service visits?
A: No, this service was designed with your convenience in
mind. We only need access to your yard.
Q: When do I pay?
A: All services are paid in advance unless prior arrangements
have been made. Most payments are billed the first of the month
and are due the 15th. Payments not received by the 20th of
the month will be assessed a late fee.
Q: How do I pay?
A: We accept cash, check, and money orders.
Pay Pal, Discover, Visa & Master Card credit/debit cards
will gladly be accepted shorly. There will be a $2.00
handling fee for Credit cards. We will also be able to
set up a recurring payment if you wish to have
worry free service.
Q: What happens if my check bounces?
A: You will be charged a $25.00 fee.
Q: Can I get a refund if I cancel service?
A: Yes, all refunds are pro-rated.
Q: DO YOU ONLY POOP SCOOP YARDS?
A: No. If a dog poops it, we'll scoop it! That includes
Apartments, Townhomes, Hotels, Condos, Pet-related Businesses,
Parks, and special circumstances that some dog owners require.
Q: What if I want to vacation hold?
A: If you choose to skip several service visits, please
let us know.
Q: What about bad weather?
A: Weather is unpredictable, and the doo must be visible in
order to be scooped. Under most condition, we will be there
as scheduled, but to ensure the safety of our technicians we
may have to postpone if the weather is too bad. As a rule,
if the public schools are closed for winter weather,
we are too.
Q: Does AlwaysReady Poop Patrol work during the Holidays?
A: We do not work on the following days: New Years Day,
Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, & Christmas
Day. We will pick up the following week.
Q: Why not just let it disintegrate?
A: Dog feces are protein based and are therefore poisonous to
lawns. Also, it can take more than one year to breakdown. More
importantly though, it can pose a health hazard to both
humans and pets.
Q: Why should I hire a Poop Service to clean my yard?
A: It is time consuming, and no one really wants to do it.
Besides, you have better things to do with your time, like
relaxing and enjoying your leisure time with your dog(s) and
family, so let us handle your dog's business and haul it away.
Q: Is there an extra charge for a first time cleaning?
A: A first time cleaning starts at $25.00 and up but, only
if the yard hasn't been picked-up in awhile.
Q: Is it possible to get a onetime only service?
A. Yes, one time only or short-term services may be easily
arranged, but we encourage you to subscribe to our weekly
service for added convenience.
Q. How much is a onetime spring cleaning?
A: $35.00 - $100.00 (depending on lot size and amount of waste)
Q: Should I unlock my gate on the day of my scheduled visit?
A: Yes, we do not climb or jump over fences, so please have
your gate unlocked on the day of your scheduled visit. If your
gate is locked when we come to do the work we will try to
notify you so we can gain access. In order to be fair to both
parties involved we have come up with the following solution:
Q; Can we work with your dog in the yard?
A: We usually get along well with dogs, so in most cases this
is not a problem. However, there are some cases when a dog
will not let us into the yard. If you know that your dog is
wary of strangers, or if it becomes apparent that your dog
will not allow us to clean the yard, then we would ask that
you restrain or confine the dog. We do not want to take any
unnecessary risks with your dog or our staff. If your dog will
not allow us to clean the yard when we come to do the work,
you will still be charged for the visit.
Q: Where does all the waste go?
A: We double bag the pet waste and dispose of it in compliance
with all local rules and regulations so you never have to see
or
smell it again. There is a small fee for removal from property.
Q: What happens if you check the yard and some waste has been missed?
A: Although we try to do the best job we possibly can, there is a time when a technician may miss something. No one is perfect. It could be that trees, leaves, high grass or other objects have gotten in the way or it could be that it was just plain missed. We strive to do our best, please call if you are not satisfied so we can rectify the situation.
